Short one today, just really pointing out that I have the wiki back in operation. I looked into a few other versions of wiki software before going back to PmWiki. The thing is, even if I do need to replace it, I would rather have it up and running while I try and find one I like better. Knowing ow I operate, the chances are that my obnoxious standards are likely to disqualify almost all of them anyway, and this one is free so that’s hard to beat. Of course while I was looking at wiki options, I also decided to retool some of the .css for the site layout. I’ve changed post archives ( a function that I’m not sure I have a viable use for just yet ) to a submenu item of the Reliquary ( also known as the wiki, go read the wiki ). Considering the Reliquary is a depository of old knowledge, it seemed fitting to me.
I also tried out a few forum options! I want to be able to do one, but holy crap are they finicky. Like, so finicky they aught to be named Huck and go gallivanting around with some hipster twit named Thomas that insists on putting the emphasis on the silent H and the AS like he’s Spanish despite being the most mid-western jackass you’ve ever met. Guess I have to keep looking for the proper knife.
